The agent can query your SQL Server instance to return the following stats:
Lock requests/sec - the number of global lock requests per second.Lock timeouts/sec - the number of global lock timeouts per second.Number of deadlocks/sec - the number of global deadlocks per second.Lock waits/sec - the number of global lock waits per second.Lock wait time (ms) - the global lock wait time.Average wait time (ms) - the global average wait time.Data file(s) size (KB) - the global average wait time.Log file(s) size (KB) - the log file(s) size.Log file(s) used size (KB) - the log file(s) used size.Percent log used - the percentage used of log space.Active transactions - the global number of active transactions.Transactions/sec - the global number of transactions per second.Errors/sec - the global number of errors per second.Active cursors - the global number of active cursors.Cursor memory usage - the global cursor memory usage.
Agent configuration
Bring up the agent configuration application by clicking Start and then Server Density or by clicking its icon in the system tray. Tick the box to enable the monitoring. You may need to set up a custom performance counter prefix if you do not see any metrics coming in after a few minutes.

Troubleshooting
If you are not seeing any metrics then you should verify you have the performance counters available.
