Papertrail logging integration
Server Density can be integrated with Papertrail to provide a link to the correct place in your logs to start investigating alerts.
- Click your name in the top right to reveal the drop menu, then click My Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and enter your Papertrail API key. This can be found here.
- For each of your devices on the Devices tab, click the Edit link then scroll to the Papertrail section.
- Choose which of your Papertrail devices or groups you want to link this device to then click Update.
Now whenever an alert is triggered, the alert log page will include a link to the linked Papertrail server or group at the time the alert was triggered.
