Forwarding proxy for behind firewall / no external internet access (v2 agent)

Depending on your setup there are a number of options for sending data to us where you have restricted internet access.

  1. If your servers have public outbound internet access on port 443 (HTTPS) then you don't need to do anything special. The agent only posts outbound on that port so that will work out of the box.

  2. If your servers have no direct outbound access but access the internet via a proxy, the agent can be configured to use your proxy. Instructions can be found here

  3. If your servers have no internet access at all, you can configure the agent on an internet accessible server to proxy the payloads to us. The servers that are not accessible from the internet then need to be configured to point at the proxy agent over your local network. Instructions can be found here
