Installing the agent

Instructions install the monitoring agent are provided within the web UI so you can pick your OS and get account specific instructions.

Existing servers

You can get the agent installation instructions by clicking the agent icon when viewing your server.

New servers

1. Log into your Server Density account and click the Devices icon on the left.
   
   
2. Click the +Device button in the top right.
   
   
   
   
3. Give your new device a name and click Save.
   
   
   
   
4. Click the Install Agent link to launch the instructions. It's also possible to filter your device list, as shown in the screenshot. 
   
   
   
   
5. Select your operating system and follow the instructions to get the agent up and running.
